Welcome to Longwood Babe Ruth Baseball & Softball! Baseball and softball are fantastic, fun sports and we hope you have a wonderful time this season. Although it’s a great game, it does require a commitment from you. We ask that you acknowledge your commitment by signing this agreement.

As a Longwood Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball player, I agree to the following: ​

• I will always remember that baseball/softball is a game, and is meant to be fun for all players.

• I will demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.

• I will treat my coaches, other players, umpires, officials and fans with respect and I expect to be treated with respect in return.

• I will do my very best to help my team, both at practices and games.

• I will listen and learn from my coaches.

• I will attend every practice and game that I can, and will notify my coach if I cannot.

• I will encourage my parents to be involved with my team in some capacity because it’s important to me.

• I will do my very best at school and will not let baseball interfere with my grades.

• I will have fun this season!
